COLORIZATION PROJECT
just for the fun I started in 2017 to colorise some of our old family black and white photo’s using the classic (no AI) layering techniques in Photoshop. Of course I had to scan them first using my Epson V600 and ‘clean and remove all spots and scratches from the digital files before starting the colouring process, but that was (for me) also part of the fun. Check here some of the photo’s I did and see how old photo’s live up and how my parents, grand parents, my uncle Oom Jan who died in the 2nd World War and other close family members started to live up again even from photo’s made around 1920.
